The Jewish Federation of the Berkshires presents Knosh & Knowledge "Explore the World of Jewish Boxing.  IMPACT: Jewish Boxers in America" with documentary film maker, James Ford Nussbaum of Galileo Productions.

It was all about fulfilling the American Dream.  The common thread amongst most, if not all boxers, is they come from poverty or a lower income class structure.  The chance to make a name for themselves and achieve notoriety is the basis for their struggle.  This is their moment to achieve that dream and gain American respect using their might and muscles as their guns

As a documentary filmmaker, the gun is the camera reflecting and mirroring back what intricacies are either exposed or hidden in our everyday cultures in hopes that we do not make the same mistakes again and hoping the freedoms that we have been allowed to reach also help others climb aboard the train of dreams.  As a filmmaker, it is not about our legacy but about the work.

Advanced lunch reservations required by Thursday, June 11 before noon.

Cost: $11 includes program and farm fresh buffet lunch from Freund's Farm Market and Bakery.  Program only is $5.
