The Jewish Federation Connecting with Community program presents "A Historical Look at Jewish Women in Music."  Throughout history, women have had tremendous impacts on culture and the arts.  Jewish women especially have played a significant role in theater and music, whether through their compositional skills, or from their conecrts and performances.

Join Kenneth Stark, educator and psychologist, as he leads us in discussion about Jewish women who were influential in all genres of music, as we listen to some selections.  You may be surprised and say 'I didn't know she was Jewish."

This free program is part of the Federation’s Connecting With Community Series and will be followed by a kosher hot lunch. Lunch is a $2 suggested donation for adults over 60 years of age or $7 for all others. Advance reservations are required for lunch and can be made by calling (413) 442-2200 before 9 a.m. on the day of the program.
