The Jewish Federation Connecting with Community presents "A Conversation About Art Appropriation During WWII" with David Lane, co-director of The New England Puppet Intensive.  His production, "The Chronicles of Rose," tells the story of Rose Valland, who worked with the French Underground and saved countless paintings from being lost forever to Nazi plundering.

David Lane is a regular contributor to the internationally recognized Old Trout Puppet Workshop in Calgary, Alberta.  Join us for a conversation about the creative process and the development of his original puppet play.

This free program is part of the Federation’s Connecting With Community Series and will be followed by a kosher hot lunch. Lunch is a $2 suggested donation for adults over 60 years of age or $7 for all others. Advance reservations are required for lunch and can be made by calling (413) 442-2200 before 9 a.m. on the day of the program.
