Whether you're new to the Berkshires or have lived here for years, this retreat is about experiencing Jewish community in a way that feels welcoming, joyful, authentic, and deeply human. A few FAQs:
1) “I don't think I can make the whole thing”. No problem! You’re welcome to come for as much or as little as your busy schedule allows. We’ll be in touch closer to it so we can make sure we know who is coming when.
2) What’s the schedule? Approximately:
• 10-11: welcome, light nosh, schmoozing, optional Shabbat morning prayers/songs
• 11-12:15: Jewish yoga class
• 12:15-1:15: camp style lunch
• 1:30-3:30 Jewish arts and crafts, nature activities, boating, relaxation
• 3:30: camp fire and community gathering before we say goodbye
3) Can I bring my kids? Yes, they are most welcome! It’s camp after all. You will have access to the gan indoor space and are responsible for watching them as there’s no babysitter. There will be plenty of kids and babies hanging out together, but the programming is focused on adults/
4) Food allergies: after you rsvp we’ll be in touch to get your preferences and accommodate.
