Located close to the center of Great Barrington, the Housatonic Flats reserve, a property of  the Berkshire Natural Resources Council | The Landkeepers, is a rich resource for all who enjoy the outdoors.  More than half of the trail tracks very close to the river, letting visitors see how the stream is undercutting the opposite bank, changing its channel.  It’s an easy walk for families to leisurely enjoy while reading the story.  Please practice safe distancing from others while along the trails.

The book shares the story of Sadie’s little brother Ori who will be joining her at sleep-away camp for the first time. He’s very excited, but he wants to bring Nuggles, his favorite “stuffy,” and is worried that his bunkmates will make fun of him. Is he ever in for a surprise!

The StoryWalk® Project was created by Anne Ferguson of Montpelier, VT and developed in collaboration with the Kellogg-Hubbard Library. StoryWalk® is a registered service mark owned by Ms. Ferguson.
