Joyce Raimondo, artist, author and Education Coordinator at the Pollock-Krasner House and Study Center in East Hampton, will explore the theme of creativity and the ways in which this informs our lives.
This special session will include virtual tours of Pollock and Krasner’s studio, as well as present studios of other renowned modern artists including Willem and Elaine deKooning, Helen Frankenthaler, Alfonse Ossorio, Mark Rothlo  and other artists.
Through a slide show of abstract expressionist artist studios and a rare video of deKooning in his studio, Joyce will also focus on the practical aspects of artists' studio life. For example, when did Pollock paint - what was his schedule?   This program will also assist individuals with their own creative practices using Pollock, Krasner and other artists as examples. Joyce will offer opportunities for reflection about artistic or creative goals with some writing prompts.
